This blog is for those precious women who live on a mission field that is foreign to them. My prayer is for this to be a place to which you can come and share your hearts with other women, not only of like faith, but who really understand your circumstances in ways the rest of us can’t. When we haven’t been called to leave the comforts of our own homes and cultures to serve Christ, there are certain things we can’t understand, unless the Lord gives us His perspective.
Privacy: Because I want you to feel completely free to be yourselves on this blog, I will leave it up to you to use your real name or a different one. It may be that you start out with a pseudonym, but decide later to use your real name. If you don’t feel comfortable naming your country of service, that’s fine, too. Please, have it your way.
If you ever want to contact me directly, please send me an email. If you ever want to correspond directly with someone who has written either a post or a comment, let me know, and I’ll contact them to make sure it’s all right with them - before I pass along anyone’s email address to anyone else. I will keep your personal information private.
Though I am not one who believes at all in evolution as it’s presented today, please understand that this blog is going to be evolving as we go. The basic premise will remain the same, but I expect the Lord to give us new ideas along the way to help make this better and more helpful for more and more of you. Thanks for helpful suggestions and comments so we can grow this together. Thanks also, for letting other women on the mission field know about this blog. The more who come and share, the better it will work.
For now, I’ll post something every so often, and you can comment. My plan, however, is to have you join me in the posting, so that you become the main contributors, because “this one’s for you.”
